Rates
We have information, video tutorials, and a downloadable brochure on our Demand Billing page.
For some customers presently on Rate 11, switching to Rate 10 would increase their electricity bills. That’s why we wanted to provide customers with choice.
We understand that electricity consumption can change over time which is why customers can switch twice during a 24-month period.
This program was implemented to provide choice to small- to medium-sized business owners who, in some cases, limited ability to vary their electricity consumption patterns.
You can use our calculator to compare the two rates based on your historic use over the last year. While NS Power can provide advice, this is a decision eligible customers must make for themselves. Depending on how much electricity you use – and how much you use at any one time – one rate may have an advantage over the other. If you change how your business uses electricity, it might change which rate is more cost effective.
