Powering Our Communities

We’ve partnered with community organizations across Nova Scotia to help eligible customers who are struggling to pay their electricity bill.

FAQs

Eligibility is determined by participating organizations. Please contact a participating organization directly to learn more about their eligibility requirements and how to apply for support.

Eligible customers may access support through one participating organization under the Community Energy Fund. Nova Scotia Power will match contributions up to a maximum of $300 per customer.

The fund will be distributed in two phases to ensure support is available throughout different times of the year. This approach helps extend the availability of funding across multiple billing cycles and seasonal energy needs.
