Call Nova Scotia Power at 1-877-428-6004 to report the damage. We’ll send a line crew to your home to disconnect service so an electrician can make the repair.
Repair a Damaged Meter
To help ensure your power is restored as quickly as possible, you should check for damage to your electrical equipment.
Have a look at your meter mast. It’s the tube that connects the service line to your home. Has the meter mast pulled away from your house? Is it bent or broken? If so, you’ll need a certified electrician to make repairs. We're here to help get you reconnected safely and quickly.

Find a certified electrician. If you don’t know of an electrician in your area, give us a call and we’ll help contact one for you. You can also find a list below of electricians who are ready to help.

Your electrician completes repairs. The electrician will call Nova Scotia Power to request an inspection and a service reconnection.
