Senior Asset Management Engineer

I'm Julius from Fairview, and I'm a Senior Asset Management Engineer working in the Halifax area. My role helps keep the power grid safe and reliable for all Nova Scotians. I'm responsible for addressing technical challenges, developing investment plans, and applying best practices for managing equipment.

My team and I use our knowledge of the equipment's condition, gathered through inspections and other data, to identify areas that need attention. We then collaborate with other experts to develop and implement solutions that help strengthen our system and prevent outages.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my role is collaborating with my colleagues and gaining valuable insights from their diverse perspectives. My job is both exciting and challenging. It's a team effort, which keeps work fun and rewarding. 

Outside of work, I have a passion for eating my way around the world! Travelling to places that are famous for delicious food is top priority for me. Who needs a map when you have a menu?
