Heat Pump Financing

Financing for heat pumps installed by an approved contractor is available from Nova Scotia Power to homeowners and landlords on approved credit. Renters are not eligible.

Terms	5-year, 7-year and 10-year terms
Interest Rate	In effect at time of purchase, locked in for the term of the lease
Contract	Lease-to-own — at the end of the term of the lease, and payment of one dollar, ownership is transferred. The lease is also transferable to an approved buyer in the event of the sale of the home. If the account is terminated the outstanding balance is billed in full.
Portion covered	Total price including installation and taxes
