We collect and share information about our environmental performance in a variety of ways. In this section, you’ll find information on:
- NSPI’s air emissions, or what comes out of the stacks of our thermal generating stations.
- Our submission to the Carbon Disclosure Project(CDP), an initiative of an independent non-profit organization to collect detailed climate change data from some of the world’s biggest companies. One of the objectives of this project is to encourage dialogue around climate change issues between corporations and their investors. Emera's submissions to the Carbon Disclosure Project can be obtained from the CDP website.
- The Conference Board of Canada recognized Emera as one of 15 Climate Disclosure Leaders in Canada based on its annual review of Carbon Disclosure Project submissions.
