Right now, about 18 per cent of the electricity we use every day in Nova Scotia comes from renewable energy sources. Led by government policy reflecting a public desire for cleaner, renewable electricity, we’re continuing to increase that amount by harnessing the power of the wind, biomass, rivers, and the tides.
This section contains information on our renewable energy programs available to Nova Scotians, like Enhanced Net Metering and the Community Feed-in Tariff. For information on how we're making electricity with renewable sources, visit the How We Make Electricity section.
