2011 Demand Side Management

Nova Scotia Power has worked closely with its regulator, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board, and a collaborative body of stakeholders known as the Program Development Working Group (PDWG) to foster and establish energy conservation and efficiency programs for electric customers in Nova Scotia.

Consultation on energy conservation and efficiency has taken place over several years and has resulted in a number of regulatory filings, regulatory approvals and subsequent program implementation and delivery.

As interim administrator NS Power has had full responsibility for preparing and filing this plan. NS Power will transition the role of administrator to Efficiency NS in 2010. Efficiency NS will execute the 2011 Plan and will be responsible for filing the 2012 DSM plan and beyond.

Evidence has been filed in support of the 2011 DSM Program Plan.
