Nicholas is responsible for all financial matters related to Nova Scotia Power and gives financial advice across all sections of the company.
Since 1998 he has held several senior finance positions with Nova Scotia Power and its parent company, Emera Inc., with experience in fuel accounting and forecasting, treasury, investor relations, business valuation, and financial analysis. Nicholas played a lead role in the development and implementation of NSPI's Fuel Adjustment Mechanism.
Before joining Emera and Nova Scotia Power, Nicholas worked in human resource consulting and the telecommunications industry.
A graduate of Dalhousie University, Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce and is a Certified Management Accountant.
Nicholas resides in Halifax with his wife and two children and remains active with local community organizations.
