Grassroots Grants Program

Nova Scotia Power’s Grassroots Grants Pilot Program

Amazing non-profits—big and small—are strengthening communities across Nova Scotia every day. With dedicated volunteers and a deep understanding of local needs, they’re creating meaningful change for their neighbours.

That’s why we’re proud to support initiatives that make a lasting difference. Through our 2025 Grassroots Grants Program, we’re providing funding to projects focused on sustainability, education, cultural preservation, and other efforts that help communities thrive.

Meet the deserving recipients of our pilot program.

"This funding will help us expand our program offerings, break down barriers in our community, and increase access to entrepreneurship opportunities, knowledge and skill-building workshops, and food insecurity supports. With this support, we can better serve our community and create more meaningful opportunities for growth, connection, and resilience."
