We offer many convenient bill payment options, including:
- Major banks and credit unions accept payments on behalf of Nova Scotia Power. You can register with your bank to allow you to pay online, by phone or at their ATMs. You can also visit a teller to make your payment. Please ask your bank to help you find the method that best suits your needs. Registering with your bank will allow your payments to be processed within 2-4 days. Please allow 8-10 days if your payment is made at a teller.
- Arrange for automatic withdrawals from your bank account in three easy steps:
1. Make sure your current balance is paid in full.
2. Choose the payment plan that best suits your needs – equal billing or regular bi-monthly billing.
3. Sign up. Simply fill out the form, attach a void-cheque and send it to Nova Scotia Power:

Your application will usually be processed within 48 hours and you’ll be notified by mail, e-mail or phone once your request has been processed.
- Visit one of our payment agents located throughout the province. Please have your Nova Scotia Power bill, bill payment stub or 8-digit account number with you. Allow 4-6 days for bill processing (2 days for electronic payment agents).

- E-pay is a payment option for e-bill customers. Within your e-bill account you can register to make payments with the click of a mouse or set it up to pay automatically. The payments will be withdrawn directly from your bank account within 2 business days.
