These Electrical Inspection Bulletins have been prepared by Nova Scotia Power Inc. herein called "Nova Scotia Power". These Bulletins and the copyright to them are the sole and exclusive property of Nova Scotia Power. These Bulletins shall not be copied or reproduced, in whole or in part, without the prior written consent of Nova Scotia Power and all such copies shall be the property of Nova Scotia Power and contain a copy of this notice. Unless otherwise stated by Nova Scotia Power, use of or reliance upon the content of these Bulletins, in whole or in part, is prohibited.

Any person receiving all or part of these Bulletins shall not use or rely upon them or disclose them to third persons, in whole or in part, except:

  1. for the purpose of performing services for Nova Scotia Power,
  2. with the prior written consent of Nova Scotia Power, or
  3. as required by law.

Nova Scotia Power, its servants or agents, regardless of fault or cause, shall not be liable to any person for injury, loss or damage arising out of the use of or reliance upon the content of these Bulletins, in whole or in part, except when these Bulletins are received for the purpose of performing services for Nova Scotia Power. Any person receiving these Bulletins shall indemnify and hold harmless Nova Scotia Power, its servants or agents, regardless of fault or cause from injury, from any loss, damage or claim by any person arising or alleged to arise from use of or reliance upon the content of these Bulletins, in whole or in part, except when these Bulletins are received for the purpose of performing services for Nova Scotia Power.

Nova Scotia Power may require that these Bulletins and any copies thereof be returned to Nova Scotia Power upon written demand by Nova Scotia Power but the restriction on use, reliance and disclosure, in whole or in part, shall survive any such return.

The designs, instructions and clearances specified in Nova Scotia Power's Engineering Standard, may exceed the applicable CSA Standards in some instances; however, where any third party, person and property is involved with incidents related to NSPI plant, the applicable CSA Standard in effect at the time of construction shall apply.
