We work alongside our provincial government and our regulator to help plan Nova Scotia’s energy future. The approaches outlined in this section were created with input from a variety of individuals and organizations from all parts of our province. Together, we’re working to produce electricity in cleaner, greener ways, to use less of it and to keep it as affordable as possible for all of us.
The Province of Nova Scotia released the 2009 Provincial Energy Strategy and its companion, the Climate Change Action Plan (PDF) in January 2009. The Renewable Electricity Plan was released in 2010.
