Enroll in the program

All new homes in Nova Scotia can take part in Conserve Nova Scotia's EnerGuide for New Houses program by booking a home energy evaluation. To be eligible for rebates, homeowners and/or builders must enroll in the program before construction of the home begins.

Homeowners enrolled after July 1, 2009, are eligible for the NS Power rebates. Those registered prior to July 1, 2009 in EnerGuide, but who have not had their final assessment completed, must show the Energy Advisor receipts dated after July 1, 2009 to be eligible for NS Power rebates.

The cost of participating in the EnerGuide for New Houses program is $250 plus HST.
