Nova Scotia Power is donating $450,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters over three years, beginning in 2009. Seven Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies across Nova Scotia are benefiting from the contribution, which marks the largest single donation in Nova Scotia in the organization’s history.
| Nova Scotia Power employees also actively support Big Brothers Big Sisters in other ways. Our employees mentor young people as a Big Brother or Big Sister and volunteer in the Bowl for Kids fundraiser, where the company matches funds raised by employees. Our employees also take part in Bowl for Kids Sake events throughout the province. This year, Nova Scotia Power contributed over 25 teams of employees to take part in the event! Anyone is welcome to take part and can register themselves and their team by clicking here. | | |
