Street Light Repairs

If you've noticed a streetlight out or burning during the day in your neighbourhood, please let us know. We'll work to repair it as quickly as possible - under normal circumstances, usually within seven business days.

If you are reporting a streetlight that is within the boundaries of the former City of Halifax, please call Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) at 490-4000.

If you've noticed a street light out in your neighbourhood, please let us know. We'll work to make that repair as quickly as possible. Under normal circumstances that's usually within 7 business days.

To report a hazardous condition or power outage, please call the Nova Scotia Power Outage Line at 1-877-428-6004.

If you are reporting a street light located within the boundaries of the former City of Halifax please call Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) at 490-4000.

If you don't have the address information or you believe additional descriptive information would be helpful, please indicate the name of the street/road the light is on, with details of how the light can be located, e.g. relation to prominent landmarks, how many poles it is from the nearest intersection or landmark etc.
