Nova Scotia Power is a public utility and regulated under the Public Utilities Act and the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board (NS UARB). The UARB has supervisory powers over our operations and expenditures.
Electricity rates for our customers are also subject to NS UARB approval. While we are not subject to an annual rate review process, we do participate in hearings from time to time at our or the Regulator's request.
