Nova Scotia Power’s office building located on the Halifax waterfront became the first building in Atlantic Canada to achieve the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification. This designation was received this month from the Canada Green Building Council and is one of the nation’s most well-recognized certifications in green building design and construction.

Nova Scotia Power is reducing its request for capital spending to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board. The utility filed the reduced capital plan today as part of the Annual Capital Expenditure (ACE) Plan regulatory process.
